Kangho Aviation High School was found in 1981 by Dr. Yeom Kyuyun. The school is guided by the principles of strength of spirit, sincerity, beauty, and creative industry. Our goal is to embody these qualities in ourselves and in our students.

　The first chief director, Seo Yujeong said, “Since the relationship between parents and children is enshrined in Heaven, we should be ever-dutiful to our parents. Similarly, there is a dutifulness that exists between the individual and their country.” Thus, a principled foothold was establish; the centrality of family and virtue as a core of education; virtuous thinking and action, mindfulness of heaven, and the love of all human beings.

　Thanks to both Dr. Yeom Kyuyun and Seo Yujeong and their shared educational principles and vision, Kangho Academy, Kangho Aviation High School has grown and flourished. Thanks to them, Kangho has become a name recognized and respected nationwide. These visionaries built the foundations for a reputable high school that continues to grow and promote its ethos.

　I too wish to succeed their noble spirits. Thus, I was inspired to bestow a second name upon their enduring legacy; Kangho Leadership High School. Again, the goal is the inculcation of virtue and duty to family in our children, and to inspire a passion for personal industry and knowledge. The accomplishments of the individual raised within this ethos are of great importance to us.

　I also want to help raise creative and skilled tradesmen who will make significant contributions to the development of our country. I hope they will be at both the centre and forefront of industry, especially within the aerospace industry.

　I, personally, will always strive to provide you with a more advanced, convenient, and peaceful environment, and to inspire you to study diligently. I pray that you all your dreams will come true, and that you will help promote your country and society among tomorrow’s leaders and innovators.
