     How many days in a month do we not encounter English at all.Such as English movies, British dramas, pop songs, and school English classes? 

I enjoyed British dramas through convenient translations yesterday. 

The Department of English Literature is a field where we study English literature and explore not only how to communicate in 'English', 

but also English literature and English culture which is closely related to our lives.

    If you have experienced English classes  in middle and high school.

Or if you also like to read and watch various English media such as English newspapers, dramas.

 In shorts, if you are good at English or have the ability to write, read, listen, and speak about English, it will be more advantageous to study English literature classes.

    Unlike in the past, English literature majors not only read and appreciate English-American literature, but also learn how to express their opinions in an original way and communicate them logically. Based on this, they will grow into humanities talents suitable for the global era, and English is an essential competency of this era, so they can be seen as a bright future course by entering various fields such as humanities, society, and economy

해외 영화, 영국 드라마, 팝송, 학교 영어 수업 등 우리가 영어를 전혀 접하지 않는 날이 한 달 중 며칠이나 될까요? 아마 없거나 손으로 꼽힐 것입니다. 영어영문학과는 이처럼 우리 생활에 밀접한 ‘영어’로 의사소통하는 법을 체계적으로 배울 뿐 아니라 영어학ㆍ문학 및 영미 문화에 대해서도 탐구합니다. 이처럼 영문학과는 체계적인 교육과정을 거쳐 영미어ㆍ문학 분야 인재를 배출합니다.저는 어제 영국 드라마를 번역과 함께 즐겼는데요. 

영문학과는 영문학을 공부하고 '영어'로 의사소통하는 방법뿐만 아니라 탐구하는 분야이다 또한 우리의 삶과 밀접한 관련이 있는 영문학과 영문화도 있다.

만약 당신이 중학교와 고등학교에서 영어 수업을 경험해본 적이 있거나 영자신문, 드라마 등 다양한 영어매체들을 읽고 보는 것에 흥미가 있다면

쉽게 말해 영어를 잘하거나 영어에 대해 쓰고, 읽고, 듣고, 말할 수 있는 능력이 있다면 영어 문학 수업을 공부하는 것이 더 유리할 것이다.

영문학 전공자들은 과거와 달리 영미 문학을 읽고 감상할 뿐만 아니라 자신의 의견을 독창적으로 표현하고 논리적으로 소통하는 방법을 배운다.

이를 바탕으로 글로벌 시대에 맞는 인문학 인재로 성장할 것이며, 영어는 이 시대의 필수 역량이므로 인문, 사회, 경제 등 다양한 분야로 진출하여 밝은 미래의 진로로 볼 수 있다.
