Jane Eyre is the name of a poor but not poor young orphan, who gets raised by her cruel aunt Mrs. Reed. She spends her childhood in her aunt's wealthy house - obviously a time of pain and despair - before being sent away to a 'charity school' for fighting with Mrs. Reed's beloved, rude son. As exited as I am, Jane is on her first steps joining the seemingly happy, stupendous school. She never expected the headmaster, Mr. Brocklehurst, to be a profane, abusive person caring least for his children. He cruelly formed up with Mrs. Reed and told everyone in the school that Jane was an evil kid. Thankfully, there is always a good side in such novels, and it would be Miss Temple, the kind thoughtful teacher who frees Jane from her false accusations. Then, a serious disease problem passes through the school; as a result the headmaster leaves the seat for some reason. Jane's life improves significantly from that point on, and she lives six more happy years as a student in the school. After the long time, two more years were awaiting her, the years she would be teaching as a former teacher.

After the two years of teaching, Jane craves for adventure and she accepts an invitation of a governess position at a manor called Thornfield. She gets to meet a lovely French girl named Adele. There she also meets a man, who has a powerful passion in himself, named Rochester with whom she falls in love. She sinks into despair when he brings a pretty woman to Thornfield, but she again finds her smile when Rochester proposes to Jane instead of the expected, so called 'pretty woman'. Her wedding date came closer and she managed to find out that Rochester had already a wife - known as dead, but she was alive; just gone mad - and she runs out of Thornfield in tears. She is forced to be a beggar out there in the harsh society, before three kind siblings take her in. They found Jane a teaching job in a charity school and the fact that Jane's uncle passed away leaving a pile of money. Generous Jane shares it equally with her thankful three new friends, shockingly being found out to be Jane's cousins. The oldest of the three; St. John urges Jane to accompany him on his missionary flight to India as his wife, getting refused since their relationship lacked love. Jane couldn't forget her true love - Rochester - so she hurries back to Thornfield, finding out that Rochester's first wife who has gone mad died in a fire. Rochester had lost his eyesight, but it didn't stop the love of the two, which also allows their first son to be born later on. The story ends as a happy ending.

This novel, Jane Eyre, is a book that surely shook my heart in the means of overcoming a painful past. I personally feel that I am building a small but painful memory in one corner of my heart. It would be my sorrowful life of studying what I don't want to as a student. But peeking at the life of Jane through this meaningful story, I believe my hard times will one day help show the beautiful petals of my life after getting through all these aphids. And when that turning point comes in right front of my path, I believe my throbbing memories are allowed to be thought of as a beautiful, shimmering star in my soul. I have learned that harsh points in our lifetime is not something that we can control significantly, but with a little bit of effort and hope, a wonderful time which I can earn my own happiness will await us; and I do not deny this fact even by a tiny bit. I will fight through these obstacles, sometimes understand why these obstacles are here for and I will reach the final end where I can relieve. Thanks to this novel, my weak thought on this fact is now higher than ever, and I believe this belief will undoubtedly bring me to my final destination. I would like to give this novel five stars out of five, for giving me the strength to live this life with more determination. Also I would like to recommend this book to anyone who can read, but especially the ones who are having a hard time getting through the bushes on their paths. This novel will doubtlessly give will and hope.
