So ― been on this thing for maybe a few months now and it's basically bookmarked at this point, so figured I'd say something since a lad on another thread asked me the other day. I'm in the UK, mostly do football and horses, nothing mad, just so you know where I'm coming from.
What got me on it was actually embarrassing ― I never could work out what an ew payout actually was once you get five places instead of three. I used to just wing it and get a shock. Now I stick my stake in before every slip, even a simple single bet.
The single bet calculator tool is the part I use most ― you drop in stake and odds and it shows the return straight away, fractional or decimal, doesn't matter. It also handles the bigger stuff ― trebles maths, lucky 15s, yankees, honestly that's where I always got it wrong. Have a go yourself, it's over at working out lucky 15 and there's no login wall, which I appreciated.

Excellent post, balanced and well organised without showing off, and a stop at korivotrust continued in that same vein, this site has clearly figured out the formula for content that works for readers rather than for search engine ranking signals which is harder than it sounds today and worth real recognition from anyone.

Thanks for the breakdown, it gave me a clearer picture of something I had been confused about for a while now, and a stop at navirotrust closed the remaining gaps in my understanding nicely, no need to hunt around twenty other articles to put the pieces together which is a real time saver.

Skipped the TLDR thinking I would read everything anyway, and ended up enjoying the path through the full post, and a stop at cavix similarly rewarded the patient read, summaries are useful but the journey through good writing is part of what makes the destination feel earned rather than just delivered cleanly.
