The two-day 10th KB Good Job Fair was held at Songdo Convensia in Incheon, inviting some 200 blue chip companies and over 20,000 job-seeking youths, according to officials.

The participating companies are top-ranking SMEs selected by KB Kookmin Bank, the Incheon Metropolitan Government, Incheon Job Center, Korea Industrial Technology Association, Korea Industrial Complex Corp. and the Federation of Korean Industries.
Events such as job aptitude tests, job experience centers and stress counseling booths were also available.

The job fair, which was launched in 2011 as part of the bank’s social contribution efforts, is now the single-largest job expo here in Korea offering a one-stop platform both for companies and job seekers.
So far, 13,000 companies have participated, 51,000 jobs have been listed and 5,474 people have succeeded in finding a job through the fair, according to the bank.
“We hope that this job fair will help create a happier society by assisting young job seekers in finding the right career,” said Yoon Jong-kyoo, chairman of KB Financial Group and president of KB Kookmin Bank.
