Fortune Magazine published an article praising the new 65-inch LG EF9500 TV.

In its Oct. 30 edition, writer Don Reisinger hailed the new LG TV, saying that it “makes every other TV set I’ve ever watched look, well, ugly.”

He also added that “the TV delivers visual quality beyond anything I’ve ever experienced”, and said the high dynamic range technology “topped the list” against other 4K TVs.

HDR is a technology that increases the contrast between dark and light on a screen to deliver colors in better detail.

Reisinger said that unlike most televisions based on LCD technologies, LG EF9500 is an organic light-emitting diode television, which helps deliver higher quality graphics than competitors.

He recommended people purchase the TV despite the rather high price, even suggesting those who cannot afford it to wait for the price to come down and buy at a later date.
