<발표문> 

안녕하세요 녹색갈증이란 주제로 발표를 하게 된 차수빈입니다. 목차는 크게 3가지로 나뉘는데요. 첫번째 이 주제를 선정하게 된 이유, 두번째 녹색갈증의 의미, 세번째 녹색갈증을 이용한 호텔들 입니다. 이 주제를 선택하게 된 이유는 영어시간에 배운 지문에서 Belize에 위치한  Great Blue Hole에 대해 알게되었는데, 처음에는 사람들이 왜 그런 곳을 많이찾을까라는 호기심에서 시작한 조사였습니다. 하지만, 조사를 하다보니 녹색갈증이란 현상 때문이라는 사실을 알게 되었고, 그 현상을 호텔에 적용해보면 어떨까라는 생각에 이 주제를 선정하게 되었습니다.

녹색갈증(Biophilia)이란, 자연을 좋아하고 그 속에서 살아가고 싶어 하는 것이 생명체의 본질이라는 개념입니다. 미국의 생물학자 에드워드 윌슨에 따르면 인간의 육체와 정신은 자연에 맞도록 설정되어 있는데, 오늘날 현대인들은 도시 생활을 하기 때문에 다양한 스트레스를 겪을 수밖에 없다고 합니다. 에드워드 윌슨 교수는 이런 자연 회기 본능을 '녹색 갈증'으로 표현했습니다.

마지막으로 녹색갈증을 이용한 호텔들의 예시를 발표하도록 하겠습니다. 많은 호텔들이 있지만 대표적으로 3가지만 발표하도록 하겠습니다. 스리랑카에 위치한 칸달라마 호텔은 역사와 자연이 어우러져 만들어내는 독특함을 지니고 있습니다.

태국 코쿳이라는 지역에 위치한 소네바키리는 넓은 대지를 지니고 있어 진정한 자연의 모습을 보여줍니다.

노르웨이에 위치한 주벳랜드스케이프 호텔은 노르웨이의 대자연을 느낄 수 있도록 거대한 통창이 객실마다 설치되어 있어 굳이 밖에 나가지 않아도 내가 자연 속에 들어온 것 같은 느낌을 줍니다.

Hello, I'm Cha Subeen, and I'm going to make a presentation under the theme of "Biophilia". The table of contents can be divided into three main categories. The first is the reason why we chose this theme, the second meaning of Biophilia, and the third using Biophilia. The reason I chose this topic was because I learned about GreatBlueHole in Belize during English time, but it was a survey that started out of curiosity about why I visited such a place. However, after researching, I found out that it was due to the phenomenon of Biophilia, so I chose this topic with the idea of applying the phenomenon to hotels.

Biophilia is the concept that nature is the essence of life that loves nature and wants to live in it. According to American biologist Edward Wilson, the human body and mind are set to match nature, but today's modern people have no choice but to experience a variety of stresses in order to live in the city. Professor Edward Wilson described this nature-session instinct as "Biophilia"

Finally, I would like to present an example of a hotel that uses Biophilia. There are many hotels, but I would like to announce only three representative ones. Located in Sri Lanka, the Kandarama Hotel has a unique combination of history and nature.

Located in a region called Kokut in Thailand, Sonnebakiri has a wide place and shows true nature.

Located in Norway, the Jubet Landscape Hotel has huge windowpanes installed in each guest room so that you can feel the great nature of Norway, giving you the feeling that I have entered the nature without having to go outside.
