Hate and aversion are big social issues these days.At this TED talk, we presented common ideas about 'hate' and 'hate' and solutions to it. A lecturer named Sally allegedly bullied a girl named Vicky with her friends at school when she was 10 years old. Even the teacher turned a blind eye to bullying, and "Vicky" was said to have lived in school with the nickname "Sticky Vicky" without anyone's help.Most people think that the cause of 'hate' is not their problem, but their problem.But in reality, not only their problems, but also their social structure and prejudice among members of society are making them suffer, and so marginalized people are vulnerable to discrimination everywhere.The reason for this phenomenon is said to be due to a "fundamental sense of superiority," but it ostracizes itself and other people with the idea of superiority.We are all a product of culture and that culture can be created by us.If this situation continues, society will eventually become an unequal society.The speaker suggested two major solutions.The first was to recognize the "hate" within oneself, and the second was to overhaul the system or policy.I thought this TED talk was a reminder of what we've been turning a blind eye to, even though we should have. Everyone would have seen a child who was left out of class or grade once in their school life, and they would have turned a blind eye to it, or thought that I was superior to him, and that other children would avoid it for many reasons. Frankly speaking, I was one of them. But I realized that this alienation is not just a matter of the child, but of the structure and the thoughts of the members in a small society called "school" that brings the child into pain. We often see victims involved in this social problem on the news. However, he feels sorry for the moment and does not do anything special. Since the big change is the gathering of small changes, our society can develop into a better society if we practice even the smallest actions to solve these problems from now on.
