Why did English come from?

Unlike Hangul, which was made in Korea and is used as a unique language only in Korea, it was a time where I could find that English was made through countless long periods of time and many countries, and I could expand my knowledge of English. Everything was interesting, but there's a surprising fact, especially the line at the end of the video, "But there's something amazing. Almost 3 billion people around the world use the same word made in 6,000 years of history, but many people can't understand each other," remains in their minds. They were all relatives of each other a long time ago, but now that they live in a world where they do not understand each other even with their families who share the same language, I felt that even 3 billion people in one language did not understand each other. In fact, on the one hand, a worried mind arose. My ultimate goal for now is to enter a foreign company after graduating from university and live my own life. However, in a society where people who speak the same language and live in the same place face each other many times, they wondered if they could share the same opinions and live a life without any problems. But as most people do, I will continue to run toward my goal without betraying my will, as it is only when I encounter different cultures of myself and others and face many difficulties.

There are countless discriminations against the weak in the world, but I think the most historical and consistent discrimination worldwide is racism and discrimination against women. I used to look for it often because I have a lot of interest in women's human rights, but I don't have much interest in racism, so I only have a brief encounter with racism when I study social studies, but I don't often look for it myself. Therefore, as I came across the above video, I realized the structural racism that appears in our society and how much influence it exerted. We go to daycare centers, kindergartens, schools in adolescence, and society as adults, all of which progress slowly without our knowledge is structural racism. I was most respectful that the speaker who gave the lecture in the video gave a great enlightenment to many people in a short but short time of six minutes. The speaker showed a collection of artifacts related to slavery, including metal branding tools, shackles and postcards of public executions. However, the speaker continued to explain racial discrimination and said that only the KKK (white supremacist group in the U.S.) activities could not be found properly. So he decided to make his own costumes, and as a result, what the speaker created was a costume using Kent, camouflage patterns, and silk. The costume was an outfit that covered all parts of the body except the eyes, and I could roughly guess what the speaker was trying to say. I want to say that one of the most memorable parts so far when I write my impressions after watching a video of the sentence "The Power of Racism to Do It Secret," and I want to remind myself once again that discrimination against all the underdogs in the world will disappear during my life.
