？A country of small professions, Huckleberry Finn

Huckleberry Finn is an activity which students freely explore their own careers, away from simple career experiences. The Jeollabuk-do Office of Education provides subsidies if a team is formed with students of the same career path. As the program is focused on third grade in middle school and first grade in high school, the first graders of Jeonju Geunyoung Girls' High School were also able to participate in.

Here are the activities in the scientific field during the Huckleberry Finn. The students of Class 3 of the first grade conducted an experiment after hearing the explanation about the new material engineering department in the laboratory. It is an experiment in which the structure and the movement of the brain are directly identified by using a tool called a brainwave meter. They also moved to another lab and watched the process of decomposing food with earthworms, and found the shortcomings of stench in the process. And they learned from watching microbial fuel cell machines that microorganisms decompose organic matter and allow it to use the electricity. During their tour of the department of new material engineering, they were able to indicate the connection between engineering, biology and medicine with the diagram they learned in school classes. They tested their blood types using the remaining funding. After stabbing the hand with a blood type test needle, the students put blood on the test plate, drop the anti-A serum, anti-B serum and anti-RH serum by drop. Each blood type has a different mixture. Through experiments, they found that RH agglutination exists only in red blood cells, so that RH agglutination can be produced, and it must be exposed to RH+ type red blood cells.

The Huckleberry Finn not only provided these experiments but also unlimited supports for snacks and meals eaten in the process. At the end of the hands-on experience, each team was required to write a report, create a presentation, and present. The students are required to submit receipts of the subsidies they have used in the process. If they used in excess of money, it should be borne by the team. Finally, if they had a local experience in another area, they should submit the evidence that the guardian accompanied. When these all these conditions are completed, the activity of Huckleberry Finn is completed. These activities are necessary to get to know your job and make sure you're on the right track. However they're difficult to do for study or relaxation. Huckleberry Finn is an activity that makes students move for their dreams and think about their careers once again. Also, it is a suitable activity for students who hesitate to do so because of the burden of activity costs. If Huckleberry Finn continues next year, many students will be able to apply for more activities.
