안녕하세요. 2025 백산중학교 IB MYP PRE 공동체 프로젝트 발표회 Vlog 를 소개합니다.

IB MYP PRE 공동체 프로젝트는 원래 코칭 교사 1명과 최대 3명의 참여 학생이 하나의 모둠으로 구성하여 운영합니다.

그러나 시행 첫해인 점을 감안하여, 올해는 한 그룹에 최대 5명까지 모여 모둠을 구성하였고,

MYP 공동체 프로젝트 4개의 목표인 A. 조사하기, B. 계획하기, C. 실행하기, D. 성찰하기의 기준에 맞게

10개의 모둠이 다양한 주제를 스스로 선정하여, 6개월간 정기적으로 모이며 그간 활동한 내용을 발표합니다.

가장 먼저, HI! 아이비 모둠에서 '이끼 테라리움'을 주제로 진행한 활동 내용을 소개합니다.

공기 정화와 습도 조절, 미니 가습 효과가 있는 비단 이끼를 재료로 선정한 후, 부안에 있는 요양원을 방문했습니다.

어르신들과 함께 이끼 테라리움을 만들며, 말벗도 되어 드리는 봉사 활동을 발표했습니다.

두 번째로, HOW 얼쑤 모둠에서는 '석정문학관 소통'을 주제로 활동을 진행했습니다.

목가적인 시를 저술한 지역사회의 대표 시인인 신석정의 문학관을 탐방하여, 문화해설사와의 인터뷰한 내용을 정리했고,

신석정 시인의 좌우명과 삶의 철학, 그리고 '들길에 서서'와 같은 대표 시를 분석, 감상한 내용을 소개했습니다.

다음, Freedom 모둠에서는 '오디 개발 사례 홍보'를 주제로 활동을 진행했습니다.

부안 지역사회의 특산물인 오디는 5, 6월에 수확되는 뽕나무 열매로, 노화 방지와 혈관 건강에 좋은 음식입니다.

학생들은 부안 누에타운에 가서 지역 특산물과 지역 문화 및 부가 가치 산업에 대한 이해를 높이며, 이를 참관 학생들에게 소개했습니다.

다음으로, 'TOGETHER' 모둠의 '청소년의 자발적 자원봉사' 활동을 소개합니다.

모둠 내 구성원들이 다양한 봉사 활동을 실행하면서 학생 대상으로 인터뷰를 통해 청소년이 할 수 있는 가장 실용적인 봉사활동 형태를 고민해봅니다.

실천할 수 있는가, 지속적으로 가능한가, 안정성이 보장되는가, 금액 부담이 없는가와 같은 4가지 기준으로 가장 실용적인 봉사활동에 대한 결론을 도출해 발표했습니다.

다음으로 '글로 벌 내리자 쓰껄rr' 모둠의 '업사이클링 아트워크' 활동을 소개합니다.

학생들이 매일 마시는 우유갑을 모아서 이순신 장군이 남긴 발명, 거북선으로 재활용하는 업사이클링 활동을 진행했습니다.

이를 통해, 관람객들에게 올바른 분리수거 배출을 다시 한번 일깨워주는 모습을 보였습니다.

이 밖에도, 'WELCOME 글로벌' 모둠의 '노인 양로원 자원봉사' 활동, 

'Bridge' 모둠의 '우리 고장 해양 생태' 활동,

'글로벌 마인드' 모둠의 '탄소중립 스투키 생장일지' 활동,

 'The World Experience' 모둠의 '라면이 세계에 미친 영향' 활동, 그리고 '조이조이 글로 봉봉' 모둠의 '순창 떡볶이 페스타' 활동 

등 학생들 모두 다양한 주제로 발표하는 모습이 인상적이었습니다. 관람객들도 학생들이 준비한 자료와 발표에 경청하며 참여도를 높이는 모습이 보기 좋았습니다.

부스 관람 활동이 끝나면 관람객들은 포스트잇에 TAG를(잘된 점 T, 궁금한 점 A, 제안할 점 G) 달아 피드백 활동에 참여했습니다.

이러한 활동을 통해 학생들은 '올바른 인성과 자립심을 갖춘 글로벌 평생학습자'로 IB 학습자상에 한 걸음 더 가까워집니다.

Hello. We present the 2025 Baeksan Middle School IB MYP PRE Community Project Presentation Vlog.

The IB MYP PRE Community Project is typically run with one coaching teacher and a maximum of three participating students forming one group.

However, considering this is the first year of implementation, groups this year can have up to five members.

Aligned with the four objectives of the MYP Community Project―A. Investigate, B. Plan, C. Implement, D. Reflect―

ten groups independently selected diverse topics. They met regularly over six months and now present their activities.

First, we introduce the activities conducted by the HI! Ivy group on the theme of ‘Moss Terrariums’.

After selecting silk moss as their material for its air purification, humidity regulation, and mini-humidifier effects, they visited a nursing home in Buan.

They presented their volunteer activity of making moss terrariums with the elderly residents and providing companionship.

Second, the HOW Eolsu group conducted activities centered on ‘Communication at the Seokjeong Literature Museum’.

They visited the literature museum dedicated to Shin Seokjeong, a representative poet of the local community known for his pastoral poetry. They organized content from interviews with a cultural guide,

and introduced their analysis and appreciation of the poet's motto and life philosophy, along with representative poems like ‘Standing on the Field Path’.

Next, the Freedom group conducted activities under the theme ‘Promoting Black Mulberry Development Cases’.

Black mulberries, a specialty product of the Buan community, are mulberry tree fruits harvested in May and June, known as a food beneficial for anti-aging and vascular health.

Students visited Buan Silkworm Town to deepen their understanding of local specialty products, regional culture, and value-added industries, introducing these to visiting students.

Next, we introduce the ‘TOGETHER’ group's ‘Youth Voluntary Service’ activity.

While group members carried out various volunteer activities, they conducted interviews with students to explore the most practical forms of volunteer work youth can undertake.

They derived and presented conclusions on the most practical volunteer activities based on four criteria: feasibility, sustainability, stability, and affordability.

Next, we introduce the ‘Upcycling Artwork’ activity by the ‘Let's Write Globally’ group.

Students collected milk cartons they drink daily and upcycled them into turtle ships, an invention left behind by Admiral Yi Sun-sin.

Through this, they demonstrated how to properly sort and dispose of waste, reminding visitors once again.

Additionally, the ‘WELCOME Global’ group presented their ‘Volunteering at a Senior Care Center’ activity,

the ‘Bridge’ group shared their ‘Marine Ecology of Our Hometown’ activity,

the ‘Global Mind’ group's ‘Carbon Neutral Stuckie Growth Diary’ activity,

the ‘The World Experience’ group's ‘The Global Impact of Ramen’ activity, and the ‘Joyjoy Global Bongbong’ group's ‘Sunchang Tteokbokki Festa’ activity

. It was impressive to see all the students presenting on such diverse topics. 

It was heartening to see visitors attentively listening to the students' prepared materials and presentations, actively engaging throughout.

After touring the booths, visitors participated in a feedback activity by attaching TAGs (T for well done, A for questions, G for suggestions) to post-it notes.

Through these activities, students take another step closer to becoming ‘global lifelong learners with integrity and independence,’ aligning with the IB learner profile.
