인류가 최초로 촬영한 블랙홀 사진. 처녀자리 은하단의 중심부에 존재하는 거대은하 M87의 중심부에 있는 블랙홀을 촬영한 사진. 이 블랙홀은 지구로부터 약 5,500만 광년 떨어져 있으며 무게는 태양 질량의 약 65억 배 정도이다.
