기독교, 이슬람교, 유대교가 기원한 서남아시아는 건조한 사막으로 이루어져 있다. 과거 유목과 상업이 발달했으나, 풍부한 석유 매장량을 바탕으로 소득수준이 매우 높다. 이슬람교를 믿고 아랍어를 주로 사용한다. 인류가 최초 기원한 곳인 아프리카는 사하라 사막을 기준으로 북부 아프리카와 중남부 아프리카로 나뉜다. 북부 아프리카는 백인종이 이슬람교를 주로 믿으며 아랍어를 사용하여 서남아시아와 문화적으로 연결되는 반면, 중남부 아프리카는 흑인종이 대부분이고 민족과 언어, 종교와 문화가 다양하다. 과거 제국주의 시절 유럽 열강에 의한 일방적인 국경설정으로 부족과 국경이 불일치에 따른 갈등과 내전이 일어나고 있다. 하지만 아프리카는 풍부한 지하자원과 급속한 인구증가로 발전가능성이 큰 미래의 대륙이다.

Northern Africa mainly believes in Islam and is culturally connected to Southwest Asia using Arabic, while Central and South Africa consists mostly of native peoples, with ethnic, linguistic, religious, and cultural diversity. The unilateral establishment of borders by European powers during past imperialism has led to conflicts and civil wars caused by the mismatch between tribes and borders. However, Africa is a continent of the future with abundant underground resources and rapid population growth.
