The Meaning of the sky I still do not know What the sky says to me every day: Sometimes, surly gray, Sometimes, bright with a beaming smile, Sometimes, opening its whole Inside--a myriad pearls; Sometimes, its door shut flat. Only these I am sure of-- The one small star Rising every day on my sky-- A sun melting the clouds of the day, A moon moving the frozen night. |
