Though I did not make these mistakes,

I erase them diligently.

Though I did not tell those lies,

I erase them diligently.

Though I did not make the mess,

I erase it diligently.

And whenever I erase those things,

a part of me disappears

until I am no more.

Diligently, without complaining.

Only the righteous thoughts

Only the truthful thoughts

Only the beautiful thoughts

Are left behind.
