Kai and Krystal CCTV footage leaker issues apology

EXO’s Kai and f(x)’s Krystal recently made headlines when CCTV footage of the two stars leaked last week.

The footage in question showed Kai and Krystal wearing masks and enjoying a date in an escape room, despite their busy schedules.

Fans immediately voiced their disapproval at the escape room for breaching the couples’ privacy and uploading the footage.

On Monday, the individual that leaked the CCTV footage issued an apology through Twitter, to the stars and their fans.

The user explained in the apology that he or she was unaware that the leaked footage would cause so much controversy and harm to fans and the couple.

The user’s account name, @kaistal_jiral, was a portmanteau of “Kai” and “Krystal” along with “jiral,” a derogatory term for “nonsense” in Korean. Many fans therefore speculated the user was an “anti-fan” of the couple.
