Kim Rae-won moves away from ‘romantic guy’ role

Actor Kim Rae-won, who recently played an alluring guy in the TV series “Doctors,” will soon be showing a different side to his acting with roles that are far less romantic.

Kim has wrapped up filming for two films that are both currently undergoing post production.

One is the thriller “Resurrection,” in which he plays a prosecutor. His deceased mother is somehow resurrected, putting the prosecutor at the center of a crime case. The film’s title in Korean is subject to change.

The other upcoming film is “The Prison,” in which Kim stars as a merciless police officer who is serving a jail term.

The release dates of both films have yet to be confirmed.

Meanwhile, Kim is currently in the United States for photo shoots.
