I’m against the unification of the two Koreas.

First of all, unification costs a lot of money and the country with a better economic power has to cover it. So, the cost of reunification would be a huge burden on the Korean economy.

Second, cultural integration takes a long time. As South Korea calls ‘아이스크림’, and North Korea calls it an ice cream, the language habits and lifestyle will be completely different since the two Koreas have been divided for 70 years rather than for a short time. In addition, if people ignore and criticize each other because they can’t understand each other’s differences due to the difficulty of overcoming cultural differences, their emotions may deteriorate and there are small and large problems, which could make them less peaceful.
