The Online Class that no one expected in 2020

In 2020, as Covid-19 spread all over the world, students couldn’t go to school for safe. So the government executed “Online Class” for elementary, middle and high school students. “Online Class” is a program which students can take classes on computers or smart phones and so on. Thanks to this program, students can follow their classes safely in their homes and they were satisfied with this program.

At the beginning of the online class, as students from all over the country gathered in one site simultaneously, there was a delay-situation. This situation caused a big damage for the students who had to attend class and have class on time. Hence, IT experts resolved the problem which was occuring real-time in order to improve site.

“Online Class” has an advantage that students can check some parts that they don’t understand by replaying the videos. However, the students have to take tests shortly after starting school since they are not able to take tests during the online class. In particular, freshmen of each school didn’t even have enough time to adjust to school. As a result, these situations affected the student’s grades. Students had to live busier days, getting much amounts of study to do in short time.

Recently, the Covid-19 has been spread from rally in Gwanghwamun and small door-to-door sales. Thus, Jung Eun-kyung, the head of the Central Anti-Disaster Headquarters, said, “I think it's so scary to say that anyone can be infected anytime, anywhere” adding, “The only way to prevent the disease is to wear a mask and keep the precautionary rules.” Lastly, she said, “To prevent the spread of corona virus, the best way is minimize human contact and reduce spread of the virus.“

We have to be alert for our family and the nation’s safety. Also we should keep quarantine rules, put masks well, and control unnecessary go-out to get back our daily-life without masks.
