대기 분산 보정기(ADC)는 망원경의 완전한 광학 성능을 유지하기 위해 대기 분산에 의해 발생되는 이미지의 영향을 보정한다. 대기 분산 보정기는 대기 분산으로 인한 색상 번짐을 감소시켜 행성, 특히 저고도에 있는 행성의 향상된 이미지를 얻을 수 있도록 설계되었다.

What is the atmospheric dispersion corrector (ADC)?

The Atmospheric Dispersion Corrector (ADC) corrects the effects on the telescope image caused by the atmospheric dispersion to maintain the full optical performance of the telescope. The Atmospheric Dispersion Corrector (ADC) was designed to enable improved imaging of planets, especially planets at low altitude, by reducing the color smearing induced by atmospheric dispersion.
